We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our growing team.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in a CPA firm preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a U.S. college or university required
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese
• Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with a variety of accounting, tax, and advisory engagements, including:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, and trusts
• Prepare payroll, sales tax, and other local tax returns
• Provide bookkeeping and write-up services
• Assist with financial statement compilations, reviews, and audits
• Conduct accounting and tax research in various technical areas
• Assist with complex tax planning and tax-structuring projects
• Advise clients on business entity selection and formation
• Assist with accounting system implementation and related projects
• Communicate with clients and assist with day-to-day client service needs

Compensation

$55,000–$70,000 annual salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
