We are seeking a bilingual (English/Chinese preferred) Human Resources Manager to handle day-to-day HR operations including hiring, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. You’ll be working closely with management to support a team of field and office staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and termination processes
- Maintain accurate employee records and documents
- Ensure compliance with California labor laws and HR best practices
- Assist with timekeeping and coordinate with payroll
- Draft, implement, and update company policies and employee handbook
- Handle employee concerns, evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Support a safe, fair, and positive workplace environment
Requirements:
- 1+ year of HR experience required (construction or field labor environment is a plus)
- Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred
- Solid knowledge of California employment regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Familiarity with ADP/QB or payroll systems is a plus
