EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
  • Graduation from college with a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Two years of recent professional experience in the field of civil engineering, including design, project administration and/or construction management experience.
  • An Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possession of or in the process of obtaining a valid Certificate of Registration as Professional Engineer issued by the State of California.

Candidates selected for this position are subject to a one-year probationary work period.

Must possess a valid California Class C driver's license and comply with the City's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy during the course of employment.
