Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
- One year of experience in loan processing, accounting, or finance.
License or Certificate:
- Possession of a Class C valid driver's license is required at the time of application.
Knowledge of: Basic methods, practices and terminology used in financing and statistical reports and loan applications. Basic accounting principles and practices. HOME, CDBG, Housing Authority, FSS, and other Federal housing programs. Community Redevelopment Law and community development programs. Principles and practices of customer service. Safe driving principles and practices.
Skill to: Operate modern office equipment including computer equipment and software. Operate a motor vehicle safely.
Ability to: Prepare correspondence and reports. Maintain record and files. Perform interest calculations. Maintain balance of funds. Plan and organize administrative work effectively. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
