- Must be enrolled at least part-time in a graduate level program, in an accredited college or university graduate program in Urban Planning, Public Policy, Public Administration, or a related field. *Proof of official/unofficial transcrpts must be attached to the application.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and experience in the preparation of reports, briefing papers, and correspondence.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong information technology skills, including a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A strong preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the following areas:
- Experience with affordable housing policy, finance, or planning.
- Data management and analytical skills with a good understanding of affordable multifamily housing finance and real estate development.
- Knowledge of government funding regulations: federal, state and local laws, codes and other regulations related to affordable housing programs.
- Experience with MS Office, ARC GIS or related software.
