Los Angeles Superior Court seeks dynamic, well-qualified, and highly-motivated individuals to the fill the position of Business Resources Analyst.

Los Angeles Superior Court is the largest unified trial court in the United States with 580 judicial officers and 4,500 full-time employees. The Court has 38 court locations, serving 88 cities and 118 law enforcement agencies countywide. 

Business Resources Analysts are the entry-level class in the professional resources analyst series. Initially, incumbents perform professional assignments in one or more areas of contract, purchasing and materials management, while learning Court policies, procedures and legal requirements related to resources management. As experience is gained, duties are performed with significant independence under general supervision. Incumbents are expected to carry out their responsibilities with initiative and creativity, exercising sound judgment and utilizing problem-solving skills. Incumbents may plan and evaluate logistical processes and assist in administering large service and equipment agreements. Work requires skill in interacting with differing levels of staff to obtain information, often of a sensitive and confidential nature.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify, you must meet the following requirements at time of filing:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university* -AND- One  year of experience defining, analyzing and making recommendations for the solution of problems related to logistics, supply-chain management and materials management and assisting in implementing the solutions.

Note: Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime.
 
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will possess the following desirable qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint
  • Experience in a public agency.
LICENSES; CERTIFICATES; SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
A valid California Class C driver's license or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

Part I: 
Qualifying evaluation of education, training and experience based upon submitted application materials and supplemental questionnaire.

Part II: Applicants who best meet job-related qualifications will be invited to participate in the examination process that may consist of any combination of written, performance, or oral appraisal to further evaluate job-related experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
