Job Description
We are a lighting wholesale company located in Rialto, CA, specializing in residential lighting products. Our customers include online platforms, retailers, wholesale customers, and commercial accounts. Due to business needs, we are currently looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and organized Bilingual English/Mandarin Fully In-Charge Bookkeeper / Accounting Administrative Assistant to join our office team.
Our company already has established accounting software and daily accounting procedures in place. This position does not require building an accounting system from scratch. We are looking for someone who can learn and become familiar with our existing system, follow established procedures, and accurately and timely handle daily bookkeeping, AP/AR, reconciliations, and related accounting administrative tasks.
This position is suitable for candidates with bookkeeping, accounting, and AP/AR experience who are able to independently handle daily accounting work, monthly reconciliations, and financial record organization.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
2. Perform monthly bank reconciliations
3. Process and maintain general ledger transactions
4. Prepare and post journal entries
5. Reconcile balance sheet accounts
6. Prepare monthly and year-end financial report
7. Generate complete Financial Statements including Balance Sheet and Income Statement
8. Cash Flow statement
9. Assist with audits, tax preparation, and year end closing
10. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Requirements:
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, including speaking, reading, and writing
Must be able to handle emails and basic business communication in English
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or related work
Experience as a fully in-charge bookkeeper or independently handling company bookkeeping is preferred
Ability to quickly learn and become familiar with the company’s existing accounting software and procedures
Experience in wholesale, import, product sales, e-commerce platforms, warehousing, or small business accounting is preferred
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently and follow up on tasks proactively
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Schedule and Benefits:
