近日，中美合拍院线电影《空婚》正式获得中国国家电影局备案立项，同意拍摄。

该片由美籍华裔女作家李元瑄（Susan Li）编剧，美籍华裔著名女星刘亦菲主演，中国著名影视学家杨新磊导演，将在中美两国取景拍摄。《空婚》定位为艺术电影，剑指欧洲三大A类国际电影节。该片由十品（北京）影业有限公司、安徽蚌埠小花生网络科技有限公司等联合出品，中国资深制片人张雷雨担任出品人。

目前，正在积极寻求投资及赞助，期待有识之士共襄大举，同创辉煌！

Empty Meaningless Marriage/Shell Marriage，is a film, a fiction film on love, which is adapted from a namesake novel by Susanli (Liyuanxuan) who is a women Chinese America writer, settled in Los Angeles, Ca, USA. The film narrative a middle-aged woman “Susan”, who is beautiful and sexy, mushy and sentimental for abundant emotion, who has succeeded in her working but failed in her marriage, although undergone four loves with four men. She still can’t find a satisfactory man as her husband experiencing three marriages and three divorces, based on which the film draws mass audiences to think the empty meaningless even with absurdity of marriage in post-modern society, to warn them of contemporary to deal with feelings seriously, to love life heartily and ardently. It is structured by four love of “Susan” vertically and the voice-over of “California Sunshine” horizontally, a representative poetry by “Susan”, via both which form a strong and tight structure in space-time, simultaneously surrounded by a graceful or restrained style as mild euphemism, eventually to shape the aesthetic intertextuality of romantic passion but miserable intellect in artistic conception.

Story of the film shows nonlinear in narrative orientation, in which both concrete time and accurate space are not important, only how to handling those loves in her attitude of “Susan” is significant, worthy of concerning emphasis, further whose life philosophy is meaningful, not empty. Whether loving or hating, either to choose marriage or to decide divorce, neither many divorcing nor more marrying, all of which doesn’t indicate right or wrong, inasmuch as various opting for individual are different. If only still keeping serious and conscientious, your selecting just is right. Therefore, the film will be filled with plenty of flashbacks between China and US, between Wuhan and Los Angeles, between youth and midlife, between law and ethic, between ideal and reality, among which to weave multiple psychological montages, meanwhile for the jumping editing as rearrangement clips. Performance showing oblivious of oneself, scenes showing exquisite aestheticism, narration showing deeply intoxicating, music showing pathetic complaining, the film will agglomerate these four respects to a unique powerful video-audio language that will fascinate audiences overwhelmingly as a compelling glorification, from the bottom of their hearts.

The film will be shooting in Los Angeles, Ca, US and Wuhan, China, from spring to winter, from 1985 to today, based on the digital technology with super definition, ARRI Alexa + RED Ravon, ≥4K，4096×2160，Dolby 5.1, 2D+3D version in distribution. Facing to those differences between China and abroad, two versions will be produced with Chinese or English subtitle. It will screen in all cinemas in mainland cities, which is over 12000, in succession and show in main cities in Norther-America such as Los Angeles, New York, Vancouver, Toronto, etc. Moreover, Youtube, Netflix, Youku and Iqiyi will show it after it will broadcast in CCTV-6 and other worldwide television channels. Of course it will release via DVD. The film will participate in some international film festival around the world, win over a few awards. 

Empty Meaningless Marriage，will be leading acted by Crystal Liu (Liuyifei) as the heroine who is a Chinese America women superstar, and guest performed by Arnold Schwarzenegger, M.S.G.Stallone, Liuxiaoqing, Nina Zuo, Ximeijuan, Zhuxijuan, et al who all are former superstar. The film will be directed by Prof.Yangxinlei who is a Chinese scholar and specialist in film and television art. It will be acted by a lot of strong, powerful and energetic actors from China and US. The film will be invested by a farseeing company with wisdom, presented by China Film CO.LTD, produce by Film & Television Art Center of Communication University of China, distributed by Beijing Branch of China Film CO.LTD , Huaxia Film Distribution Co., Ltd and Huashi (Beijing) Film Distribution, Co.ltd, from China to the worldwide.  

The film will contribute a fine artwork for history of world film, to accelerate the culture exchange for China and USA, to soothe heart and spirit of innumerable modern audiences, to promote to construct the community of common destiny for all mankind.
