Social Media at Inspira


This is the newest team at Inspira which is just getting started. The Social Media team tells the Inspira story, determines messaging and positioning, and translates our reimagined services into tangible customer benefits. Our social media ninjas will be responsible for educating new audiences, creating awareness, acquiring new customers and have a deep understanding of the college and graduate school application process. This is a highly cross-functional team and partners most closely with the Product, Sales, BD, and Design teams to help our prospects and customers grasp how we can help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities


The Social Media Intern on the Inspira team is going to play a central role in the company’s mission by managing the brand presence and thought leadership of the company. We’re looking for someone who is an equal parts strategist, engaging copy-writer, and hustler. In this role you will directly work with the Co-Founders of the company to activate the social media channels from the ground up, and build a solid following for Inspira across college and graduate school applicants.



  • Ensure a consistent and effective brand message across all brand digital touchpoints
  • Develop positioning recommendations, prepare briefs, guide market research analysis, and define brand elements and tone
  • Develop, implement, and iterate on Inspira’s social media and community strategies to optimize performance across owned channels: LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Snapchat and Tiktok
  • Manage a social media calendar, posting to our social media accounts multiple times per day to drive high-quality traffic and engagement
  • Care deeply about driving two-way conversations with our customers and brand advocates, ensuring everything we share is quality and on-brand, embodying our voice and tone
  • Practice a "test and learn" attitude with a deep understanding of the full customer journey and where social media can impact it most, sharing insights and recommendations with our Head of Content.
  • Work with Brand Designers to create and source visual content (photos, gifs, videos)—light video production, photo-editing, and design skills are a big plus
