Any combination of experience, education, and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical combination would be the following:

Education:

Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Experience:

Two (2) years of experience working in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field performing duties such as: maintenance of computer software systems and databases, troubleshooting, user support and data processing. Experience with SQL and Student Information System(s) is required.

Equivalencies:

College level coursework may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain insurability per District's requirements.
