Any combination of experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered for this position; however, this position typically requires, at a minimum, the following:
Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
Three (3) years of increasingly responsible analytical, technical, programming, and/or administrative work experience.
Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License and ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record while employed with the city.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
Master’s degree in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
Five (5) years or more of increasingly responsible analytical, technical, programming, and/or administrative work experience.
Certifiable proficiency speaking and interpreting Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, or Spanish.
Experience in economic development/community development programming.
