- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent, supplemented by college-level course work in engineering technology, drafting, engineering mathematics or related fields and
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in performing sub-professional engineering duties; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience in a public agency is preferred.
- An Associate's degree is preferred.
- Knowledge and ability to use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.
The selection process will consist of a training and experience evaluation and may also include one or more of the following: written exam, interview panel, department level interview, AutoCAD assessment, and/or online assessment.
The probationary work period for this classification is 12 months and is part of the Non-represented salary resolution.
