Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field (proof required).
Two or more years of professional experience as an Assistant Administrative Analyst or an equivalent position.
A Master’s Degree in one of the preceding fields may be substituted for one-year of the required experience.
Experience offering specific and substantial preparation for the duties of the position may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
A valid California Class C Driver License.
Desirable qualifications for Personnel Services Division include:
A general knowledge of recruitment, selection, and classification and compensation.
A general understanding of the Human Resources functions specifically recruitment, selection, and classification and compensation.
Experience in applicant tracking systems, recruitment and selection, and classification and compensation.
Desirable qualifications for Community Outreach Division include:
Excellent writing and public speaking skills.
Experience in culturally-competent community outreach.
