MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of experience, education and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical combination would be the following:

EDUCATION:

Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor Degree in computer science or closely related field.

EXPERIENCE:

Three years of experience that demonstrates a wide range of knowledge and abilities of the application programming function. An additional two years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor Degree.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

KNOWLEDGE OF:

Computer Programming and system design

Operations of personal and mainframe computers

Web programming and web page design

Scripting languages

Enterprise, relational database management systems

Interpersonal skills including tact, patience and courtesy

Record-keeping techniques

Uses, capabilities, characteristics and limitations of computers and related equipment

Current methods, practices and procedures involving the use of computer technology and related equipment.
