- Graduation from college with a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field.
- Two years of recent professional experience in the field of civil engineering, including design, project administration and/or construction management experience.
- An Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
- Possession of or in the process of obtaining a valid Certificate of Registration as Professional Engineer issued by the State of California.
