A combination of education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position. A typical combination includes:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
Three (3) years of increasingly responsible professional experience performing employee/labor relations work and technical human resources duties
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
SHRM or IPMA HR certification
Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, or a related field
Knowledge of:
Employment and anti-discrimination/harassment laws and regulations
Local, state, and federal labor and civil rights laws
Employee/workplace issues resolution
Investigation methods and techniques
Alternative work arrangements
Personnel and employment practices
Research principles and investigation techniques
