Must be enrolled at least part-time in a graduate level program, in an accredited college or university graduate program in Urban Planning, Public Policy, Public Administration, or a related field. *Proof of official/unofficial transcrpts must be attached to the application.
Strong written and oral communication skills and experience in the preparation of reports, briefing papers, and correspondence.
Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management skills and attention to detail.
Strong information technology skills, including a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
HIGHLY DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS A strong preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the following areas:
Experience with affordable housing policy, finance, or planning.
Data management and analytical skills with a good understanding of affordable multifamily housing finance and real estate development.
Knowledge of government funding regulations: federal, state and local laws, codes and other regulations related to affordable housing programs.
Experience with MS Office, ARC GIS or related software.
