Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Public or Business Administration or related field
At least four (4) years of recent, direct, professional HR related experience, specifically in the area of recruitment and selection and preferably in the public sector
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience developing and applying creative recruiting solutions and workforce analytics for use in strategic planning and workforce development is preferred
At least two (2) years of experience with NEOGOV or comparable applicant tracking system is preferred
Human Resources Certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is preferred
Knowledge of:
HR principles and practices, including administrative policies, regulatory laws and guidelines
Applicant Tracking Systems (NEOGOV or comparable)
Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures
EEO rules and regulations, Title VII, FEHA, FLSA, ADA, and CFRA/FMLA
