EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or closely related field with at least two (2) years of work experience in the installation, maintenance, programming, operation, analysis and troubleshooting computer systems, local area and wide area networks, or software applications.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES:
Must possess a valid and appropriate California Class C driver’s license and acceptable driving record at time of appointment and throughout employment in this class series.
Possession of computer technical certification (Microsoft, VMWare, CompTIA+, etc.) desired.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends to accommodate department needs.
