"Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking detail-oriented individuals with knowledge and experience in working with high speed printers to apply for the Data Center Processing Clerk position. Please be advised that the official title of this position is Data Control Clerk. Under general supervision, the Data Center Processing Clerk performs data processing operations in a medium-scale to large-scale mainframe computer operations environment; and verifies that production parameters and output meet required specifications. The current vacancy may require the incumbent to transition to work in 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am) after completion of training."
The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following

Required Education and ExperienceEducation: Graduation from high school or equivalent is required.
Experience: Two years of experience in data entry and output distribution in a data center facility processing daily high volume output of 5000+ documents, such as reports, checks, and job requests.
Additional Requirements: A valid California driver’s license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites may be required. Positions in this classification may be assigned to work a non-standard workweek that might include working weekends and shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM or 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Remote, work-from-home, or hybrid work days may be available. To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE will require all employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
Selection ProcessCandidates who meet the minimum requirements above will be invited to participate in an examination that may consist of a Multiple-Choice Exam and a Structured Interview.
