The City of Long Beach, Department of Health and Human Services is recruiting for an at-will, part-time Clerk Typist III - Non-Career in the Housing Authority Bureau. Reporting to a Housing Assistance Coordinator, this position will provide administrative and programmatic support for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) and/or special housing programs, including Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH), Shelter Plus Care, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA). Non-career employees are not typically eligible for health/dental/vision benefits; however, they may be eligible for sick leave benefits. Non-Career employees are limited to 1,600 work hours per service year (approximately 29 hours/week) and are not guaranteed a minimum number of work hours. This position is located at the Housing Authority of City of Long Beach, 1500 Hughes Way Suite A-150 Long Beach, CA 90810.
