DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education equivalent to graduation from high school
• At least three years of professional experience performing progressively responsible clerical functions in an office setting
• Valid motor vehicle operator license
• Bilingual skills (Khmer, Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Vietnamese)

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, be flexible, and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
• Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks and assignments, while ensuring timely completion
• Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and populations by consistently exercising tact, good judgment, and a proactive, problem-solving focused style;
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to work with staff and management at all levels of the department and the City, and demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Willingness to learn new software programs and an interest in technology
• Ability to deescalate and resolve conflict effectively; and,
• Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TEAMS/SharePoint.
