Reporting to the ASC IT Director, this position will serve the business analysis needs of the corporation's administrative and operational units as they pertain to information technology related design, configuration, and maintenance of the corporation's business systems and related databases.


Essential Duties

  • Generate and edit reports for finance and human resources
  • Integrate various business systems 
  • Generate and edit business analytics to assist the company processes, operations, and improve financial visibility
  • Improve business processes 
  • Provide training for new reports, integrations, analytics, and processes
  • Assist in the upgrade and testing of software releases
  • Support software security changes as needed

Qualifications

  • Ability build workflows in accounting system such as OneSolution 16.2+. 
  • Ability to build workflow items to, including scripts to import data. 
  • Knowledge and experience in designing reports and familiarity with database schema / fields. Ability to modify existing reports & modify information categories to meet organizational needs. 
  • Knowledge of basic SQL administration. Ability to write basic SQL statements in order to query data from multiple joined tables. 
  • Microsoft Windows experience with Windows current desktop and server versions, system administration, including the management of servers, roles, and resources in a Microsoft client/server environment. 
  • Demonstrated experience in automating tasks on Windows and/or Linux servers using scripting tools
  • Computer communications and networking foundational understanding and ability to troubleshoot networking issues from desktop to server / service.
  • Basic understanding and previous experience adding computers to Active Directory.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking stacks: IP, TCP, UDP
  • Basic HTML understanding and application
  • Ability to support desktop end-user needs including:
  • Assist reporting users on the web as they experience issues or trouble using reports
  • Setup security for reporting and Finance users
  • Able to setup desktop software environment and installation to support application systems such as OneSolution, myMicros labor and inventory, NetSuite user access
  • Support of operational areas file import needs and assistance to the operational administrative staff in Finance & Accounting, Human Resources & Payroll, Sponsored Programs, Executive offices, and Commercial Operations
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with Cognos 10 and 11 reporting and analytics. Ability to build reports in Cognos, such as financial, HR, and other list-based reports and data extracts, as well as understand and be able to write custom queries including conditional statements and user defined fields. 
  • Working knowledge and ability to learn backup and recovery for Microsoft SQL
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy Objects and OUs
  • Understanding and creation of SPSOne roles, and modification of security permissions in OneSolution to meet business needs
  • Experience with testing and upgrades of application software such as OneSolution and NetSuite ERP. 
  • Ability and experience supporting:
  • Multiple Point of Sale equipment, setup, and menu systems
  • Order taking and fulfillment systems including handheld scanner setups
    • NetSuite POS / Retail Anywhere POS
    • Tapingo mobile ordering and printing
    • Micros Simphony POS registers and kitchen system
    • Web ordering and fulfillment
  • Experience working with vendors to support of Point of Sale payments and tender systems (such as FreedomPay or Shift4) and gift carding systems including credit, debit, and stored value (such as CBORD and Givex)
  • Understanding and experience with web server applications and experience customizing web applications
  • Experience with and knowledge of backup and recovery best practices, and policy and procedure surrounding disaster recovery
Communication skills:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work well with people of diverse technical skill levels.  
  • Demonstrated ability to assist others through periods of technological transition
  • Support training needs in administrative, sponsored programs, commercial operations areas.  As needed/directed,
  1. Generate adhoc training and build documentation for internal use and for end-user uses
  2. Generate web-based short video clips to train users on aspects of reporting, logon, etc.
  3. Ability to train others on how to use a computer system/POS/web interface
  4. Assist users in NetSuite ERP, NetSuite web, and NetSuite POS issues
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field or 5-7 years of work experience.
