The Altadena Library District is hiring for an IT & Technical Services Manager.  Under general direction from the District Director, the IT & Technical Services Manager plans, manages, and oversees the daily functions, operations, activities, projects, and programs of the District’s information technology, telecommunications, and technical services functions.  This person is an integral part of the Management Team and manages the effective use of District resources to improve organizational productivity and customer service and provides complex and responsible support to management in areas of expertise.

We are seeking candidates who are innovative, enthusiastic and detail-oriented that will be adaptive in their role as the District embarks on two building renovation projects.  This dynamic person is highly responsive, committed to organizational health, has a growth mindset and places a priority on accuracy and efficiency in their work.  The ideal candidate will have experience in both information technology and library applications as well as a background in the development and administration of a comprehensive technology program, including computer programming and hardware and software support experience.  They will also have experience in leading, supervising, or managing employees, with a preference for work in a public library setting.
