DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Information Technology Support Analyst I, you will serve as point of customer service contact to assist in providing information technology support to resolve problems with products, applications, and services; such as laptops, mobile devices; and performing day-to-day operations of equipment and systems. You will be working in a walk-in environment and will be interacting with employees and Board members within Metropolitan Water District. This position may also assist with audio visual/media platforms, media support, and help facilitate committee forums and conference meetings. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with customers while demonstrating commitment and patience.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

A High School diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency (HSEC) and two years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is defined as: any computer science or information technology degree.

Relevant experience is defined as: a combination of supporting and troubleshooting IT hardware and software equipment (e.g. laptops and mobile devices) and audiovisual/video conferencing support (e.g. Microsoft Teams).

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Employees in this position may be required to obtain and maintain the following certifications, licensing and registrations:

Licenses

• Valid California Class C Driver License that allows you to drive in the course of your employment (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during employment.
