LA County Library is seeking a highly qualified, self-motivated individual to fill a vacancy in Human Resources Development.
Essential Job Functions
Monitor all aspects of the hiring process including position control and ensuring eligibility on certification lists.
Conduct orientation for newly hired employees, providing pertinent information on benefits, salary, and retirement.
Process new hires, promotions, terminations, bonuses and other related transactions into the Electronic Personnel Action Request (ePAR) and/or Enterprise Human Resources (eHR) system.
May assist with the review of exam applications to determine eligibility and/or assist with Civil Service examinations as needed.
Requirements
Restricted to permanent County of Los Angeles employees who have successfully completed their probationary period and currently hold the payroll title of Senior Departmental Personnel Assistant.
