About the Position

This exciting role proactively partners with our retail stores and corporate office to deliver an exceptional level of HR service. Reporting to the COO and HR Manager; this role will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to apply your HR skills and knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing the recruiting process for various positions - including understanding the job requirements, posting ads, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Preparing and delivering offer letters, coordinating onboarding procedures related to new-hire orientation, training and policy communication.
  • Facilitating the data entry process and filing of paperwork for new-hires, promotions, and terminations.
  • Provides assistance to employees and/or dependents in resolving escalated benefit or claim payment issues or corrections to benefit plans or enrollment.
  • Reconciles monthly premium statements. Works with Accounting Dept. to ensure allocations are correct.
  • Accurately processing payroll for employees in compliance with state and federal laws and standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources or Labor Relations related field required
  • Experience with major HR systems/software and discretion handling confidential information
  • 3-year experience in managing all HR matters in the employee lifecycle required; including conducting thorough investigations, disciplinary meetings, and documentation, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, and recruitment.
  • Experience in interpreting and advising on awards, legislation, and regulations. Familiar with federal and state labor laws and practices.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English, fluent in Mandarin reading, writing and speaking.
