Description

An exciting new role for an internship within a fast-growing promotional event and staffing agency. If you’re interested in gaining experience in handling both large and smaller detailed events and staffing projects in a range of formats, then this could be for you. This is great opportunity for anyone with strong multitasking and organization skills. 

The Agency 
We work with both Brands and Agencies providing event implementation and staffing solutions, across the UK, EU, USA and Canada for top global brands. As an agency we offer bespoke staffing & event solutions with a high volume of experience in roadshows, in-store, festivals and on-trade activations. In addition, we are currently the global retained staffing supplier for a leading- and cutting-edge VR hardware brand. 

The Role 
The role will be based in Glendale, CA and it’s a fantastic opportunity for someone to step in and learn more about account management and the staffing industry. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our account management team, supporting them with various administrative tasks. You will be working to support the account management team in delivering individual campaigns to the highest standards. This will ensure that agency wide trusted relationships are built that lead to Elevate being the agency of choice for all future staffing requirements. 

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities 
• Sourcing costs from suppliers. 
• Managing orders with suppliers. 
• Managing logistics (stock, kit, liaising with our warehouse etc.). 
• Ensuring campaign details are articulated to our staffing team to ensure the best candidates are selected for each campaign. 
• General admin, such as updating the database, booking and sourcing travel. 
• Supporting with the management of inbound calls and emails from staff/clients to the Elevate US email account. 
• Support more senior members of the team with ad hoc research tasks & general admin. 
• To contribute to a fun, stimulating and nurturing working environment and help all team members realize their full personal and professional potential. 
• Other tasks and responsibilities as reasonably required by the business 

Requirements

Experience 
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and confidence to speak to staff, suppliers, etc. – confident phone manor. 
• A first-class listener and communicator, with great organizational and trouble shooting skills. 
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize. 
• Strong computer skills (experienced with Microsoft office suite – PowerPoint, Excel etc.) 
• Excellent time management and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work as a team member, and willing to provide support.
