Position: Marketing and Communications Intern 

Description: CrowdfundX is offering a Marketing and Communications internship to a self-starter who is ready to learn and gain experience in marketing and communications efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of digital marketing and capital markets as well as to network and meet the most influential industry experts.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

-Identifying, qualifying, and maintaining list of press outlets that cover topics ranging from investing, blockchain, digital securities, and financial trends 
-Drafting and editing copy for marketing assets such as emails, press releases, and social media content 
-Moderating and engaging in relevant social media conversations 
-Setting up designed assets across a variety of marketing channels, including Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, and MailChimp 
-Tracking and reporting key metrics across designated marketing channels using tools such as Google Analytics 

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Interns may be required to perform duties outside of the following list. 


Skills and Competencies: 

Excellent professional and personal presentation - in person, over the phone, and written communications
Strong communication skills - verbal and written 
Attention to detail and strong editing skills 
Computer software and other systems: 
G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) 
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
Adobe Acrobat 
Responsible, reliable and flexible 
Proven understanding of media relations and digital media relations 

Requirements: The ideal candidate is an undergraduate (junior or senior) or graduate student with a degree in a field related to finance, business, or marketing. 

Reports to: Christian Shelton, Director of Production and Delivery 

We prefer approximately 12 hours per week, preferably at least twice from our location in West Los Angeles (Bundy/Olympic).
