The City of Bell is recruiting to fill a part time position in the Public Works division of the Community Development Department. The Public Works Maintenance Worker performs a variety of duties in support of the City’s Public Works division; including performing a variety of debris removal and cleaning duties throughout the City and City-owned properties; as well as performs related work as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Pick up bulky items from streets, sidewalks, alleys, and city-owned properties.
• Pick up trash or small debris from streets, sidewalks, alleys, curb and gutter, and city-owned properties.
• Perform light weeding on sidewalks, tree wells, and curb and gutter
• Perform related duties as assigned.
