Under the direction of the Principal Accountant, this position will assist in the daily operations of the LAHSA Finance Department's Accounting Unit. Areas of responsibility include general ledger account maintenance, AP/AR, financial reporting, and technical assistance. This position will also be specifically responsible for benefits administration, payroll processing, and the management of LAHSA's timesheet system.
Minimum Qualifications: The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where coordination and collaboration are critical to success. This position works closely with LAHSA staff and homeless services agencies and must accomplish the following:
General:
Graduation from an accredited college with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; an equivalent combination of applicable training and experience may be substituted for educational requirements, Candidate must possess a minimum of three years of accounting or payroll experience in a governmental or large non-profit organization.
Salary Range
$41,173 - $59,702
