Reporting to the ASC IT Director, this position will serve the business analysis needs of the corporation's administrative and operational units as they pertain to information technology related design, configuration, and maintenance of the corporation's business systems and related databases.


Essential Duties

 

  • Understand campus provided services such as phones and printers.
  • Process and submit IT Requests Forms for desk and cell phones, other wiring orders for events, server requests and changes
  • Assist reporting users on the web as they experience issues or trouble using reports
  • Setup security for reporting and Finance users
  • Setup of desktop software environment and installation to support OneSolution, myMicros labor and inventory,
  • Provide support of operational areas file import needs and assistance to the operational administrative staff in Finance & Accounting, Human Resources & Payroll, Sponsored Programs, Executive offices, and Commercial Operations
  • Generate training and build documentation for internal use and for end-user uses
  • Generate web-based short video clips to train users on aspects of reporting, logon, etc.
  • Train others on how to use a computer system/POS/web interface
  • Assist users in NetSuite ERP, NetSuite web, and NetSuite POS issues

Qualifications

Communication skills:

  • Participates in the IT team assisting the IT Director and team members in rollout of technology including planning, prep, install, support, teardown, removal, budget, and event coordination
 
Technical skills:
  • Knowledge of workflow in OneSolution 16.2+. Ability to build workflow items to, including scripts to import data.
  • Knowledge of CDD and OneSolution database schema. Ability to build CDD reports, modify information categories, and change existing CDD reports to meet organizational needs.
  • Experience with Cognos 10 and 11 reporting and analytics. Ability to build reports in Cognos, including HR and list based reports, as well as understand and be able to write custom queries including conditional statements and user defined fields.
  • Working knowledge and experience with backup and recovery for SQL, via various tools.
  • Knowledge of basic SQL administration. Ability to write basic SQL statements in order to query data from multiple joined tables.
  • Experience in Windows XP, 7, 10, 2003, 2008R2, 2012 and 2016 system administration, including the management of servers, roles, and resources in a Microsoft client/server environment, as well as extensive troubleshooting utilizing logs, event manager, and system monitoring utilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in automating tasks on Windows and Linux servers using scripting tools
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy Objects and OUs
  • Computer communications and networking experience. Ability to troubleshoot issues from desktop to server / service.
  • Understanding and creation of SPSOne roles, and modification of security permissions in OneSolution to meet business needs
  • Experience with upgrade testing in OneSolution.
  • Experience working with vendors to support of Point of Sale payments and tender systems and gift carding systems including credit, debit, and stored value CBORD and Givex
  • Multiple Point of Sale equipment, setup, and menu systems
  • Order taking and fulfillment systems including handheld scanner setups:
    • NetSuite POS / Retail Anywhere POS
    • Tapingo mobile ordering and printing
    • Micros Simphony POS registers and kitchen system
    • Web ordering and fulfillment
  • Understanding and experience with web server applications and experience customizing web applications
  • Basic understanding and previous experience adding servers to Active Directory.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking stacks: IP, TCP, UDP
  • Basic HTML understanding and application
  • Experience with and knowledge of backup and recovery best practices, and policy and procedure surrounding disaster recovery

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field or 5-7 years of work experience.
